Cinergy Corp., the parent company of PSI Energy Inc., was the only utility named by Working Mother magazine to its 2000 list of America's 100 Best Companies for Working Mothers. This is the fourth consecutive year Cinergy has appeared on the list.

Working Mother magazine, which has compiled the list for 15 years, based its 2000 selections on five criteria: leave for new parents, flexibility, child care, work/life benefits, and opportunities for women to advance. Editors looked at a range of company offerings, including telecommuting, support for sick child care, and extras such as on-site gyms and other conveniences.
