Pitney Bowes Inc. (NYSE:PBI) today announced that it has made a $25,000 donation to the Good Neighbor Partnership Fund to benefit impoverished women, children and families in the Philadelphia area. The Good Neighbor Partnership Fund was created by The Philadelphia Foundation in response to the return of a national political convention to Philadelphia after 52 years.

"Pitney Bowes is delighted to make this donation to the Good Neighbor Partnership Fund," said Michael J. Critelli, chairman and CEO of Pitney Bowes. "We are very aware of the challenges facing lower income families in large cities across the country. The Good Neighbor Partnership Fund allowed us to help alleviate the adverse effects of poverty among women, children and families in Philadelphia."

The Philadelphia Foundation, established in 1918, is a non-profit community foundation that serves as a vehicle for philanthropy. As the administrator of the Good Neighbor Partnership Fund, The Philadelphia Foundation will award grants based upon monstrated need and the organizations' capacity to utilize the resources in a meaningful and prudent fashion.
