Praxair, Inc. (NYSE:PX) announced today that its Kingman, Arizona, Semiconductor Process Gases Facility has received ISO 14001 certification. This plant manufactures arsine and phosphine, creates product blends, and supplies various silicon precursor, etchant, dopant, and reactant semiconductor process gases for worldwide distribution.

The ISO 14000 standards provide the framework for environmental management, measurement, evaluation, and auditing. These standards require that an organization fulfill six key elements in its environmental management system: an environmental policy; analyses of the environmental impact; process implementation supporting the environmental policy; metrics monitoring and corrective action; management review; and continuous improvement of our environmental policy.
