BLUE BELL, PA. - Women in Technology (WIT) recently honored two executives of Unisys Corporation (NYSE:UIS) with 2003 Leadership Awards for their contributions to the technology industry.

Marguerete Luter, vice president, Global Bid Management, Unisys Global Infrastructure Services, was named winner of this year's Women in Technology Champion award. Mary Wall Dale, a client relationship executive for Unisys Federal Government Group, received the Founder's Award. Mary manages one of Unisys largest federal government accounts -- the U.S. General Services Administration.

The WIT Leadership Awards recognize outstanding accomplishment in mentoring, entrepreneurship and technology. WIT presented the honors at its fourth annual Leadership Awards banquet May 15, 2003 in Tysons Corner, Va.

WIT honored Luter with its Women in Technology Champion award in recognition of the breadth of her volunteer and leadership roles in WIT.

Luter's involvement includes serving as co-chair of the organization's Mentor-Protege Program. This initiative provides WIT members -- who range from new entrants in the workforce to senior mangers and CEOs – a structured forum for sharing experiences and advice. The Founder's Award given to Dale recognizes her significant contributions to the WIT organization. Dale is one of the founding members of WIT and helped to form its Program Committee. Through this committee, she initiated the Senior Women in Government Program, conducted panels on careers in IT sales and led a program on Canadian-American business partnerships.

Her 2002 panel, "The Skills to Succeed: The Impact of Business Trends and the Economy on Technology Professionals," drew approximately 250 people -- the largest audience of any WIT program. In January 2003, Dale was a featured speaker at WIT's first-ever Sales & Marketing Shared Interest Group (SIG) meeting. She is currently a member of the WIT Women in Government SIG.
