BRONX, NY - Canon promotional game night at Yankee Stadium on July 21st (Yankees vs. Toronto) will highlight the company's collaboration with the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and the importance of keeping an updated digital photo of a child on hand. The first 18,000 fans age 21 and over will receive a special Canon and Yankees logo photo frame with an inserted public service message containing tips from Canon on how photography can be used to protect children.

Pre-game ceremonies will include a symbolic check presentation by Canon U.S.A. President and CEO, Mr. Kinya Uchida, to Mr. John Walsh, Founder of NCMEC and host of the television series "America's Most Wanted". A thirty second pre-game spot featuring a public service announcement from NCMEC will appear on the DiamondVision screen.

"Canon is very proud to partner with NCMEC in bringing greater attention to the cause of finding missing children, and how technology is playing an increasingly important role in their search," said Kinya Uchida, President and CEO of Canon U.S.A., Inc. "A current photo of a child, particularly if it is a digital photo, can greatly aid law enforcement authorities in the speed of their response and search in the event a child is reported missing, which is critical to success."

The Yankees "Tag-A-Kid Program" is a component of Canon4Kids, an additional effort to help find America's missing children in collaboration with NCMEC. Through this initiative, wristbands are offered at customer service booth locations throughout the Stadium to assist security personnel in identifying seating locations of lost children and reuniting them with their parents. Promotion of the program will be featured in the centerfield matrix and DiamondVision boards, as well as on the new light-emitting diode (LED) side scoreboards.

Canon and the New York Yankees announced at the beginning of the 2004 season, a multi-year sponsorship contract expansion. Highlighted by a new Canon sign measuring 32 feet long and 8 feet high on the left field wall, the Company's brand presence continues to reach millions of Yankees fans.

In addition to the prominent new left field sign, Canon continues to sponsor signage behind home plate during the top of the sixth inning. Concourse dioramas featuring Canon print advertising are also displayed on the Field level of the Stadium, with Canon television commercials featured as part of pre-game exposure on the DiamondVision screen.

Canon's sponsorship also includes the "Official Printer, Copier, and SLR Camera of the New York Yankees" designation.
