Global management consulting and outsourcing firm Hewitt Associates has received the Creative Excellence in Benefits Award for Sageo, its new benefits delivery solution. The award, presented annually by the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans (IFEB), a leading industry association, recognizes innovation, excellence and creativity in benefits.

Sageo, which was created by Hewitt Associates last year, offers companies a new way to deliver benefits to employees and retirees. Through an Internet site and customer care center, it manages companies' benefits and enables employees to take a more active role in choosing and using their benefits.

In its first year, Sageo gained 24 clients and delivered benefits to more than 400,000 employees, retirees and their family members.
