BidClix Gives a Gift to Remember

Dec. 25 /CSRwire/ - NEW YORK, NY - BidClix, Inc., the innovative provider of performance-based advertising solutions, today announced that it will support a NetAid World Schoolhouse project in Zambia with a $10,000 donation. This funding will help provide access to education and other services to AIDS-affected girls. This project has been the focus of NetAid’s recent “Holiday Giving Spotlight.”

“We are excited that BidClix has chosen to celebrate this holiday season by donating to this extremely meaningful project,” says David Morrison, President of NetAid. “BidClix’s ongoing support of NetAid World Schoolhouse has made them an invaluable corporate partner.” BidClix previously made a significant donation to a NetAid World Schoolhouse project in Burkina Faso, helping thousands of children go to school.

The funding from BidClix will help support the New Horizon Orphanage (NHO) in Lusaka, Zambia, which provides access to schools, shelter, counseling and recreational activities to over 40 AIDS-affected girls. In many cases, these girls are AIDS orphans who would otherwise be forced to live on the streets.

“We are donating to this very worthy project in honor of our partners and suppliers. We think of this as an ideal way to give back and make a difference in the lives of others,” explains Paul Needham, President of BidClix. “Without NetAid we would never have learned about the New Horizon Orphanage and the young girls in their care. NetAid is the vital interlocutor between BidClix and NHO, connecting our lives in ways that would have otherwise been impossible.”

The company has issued a challenge to its partners and suppliers to join NetAid’s fight against poverty by making additional donations to the Zambia project.

In addition to its monetary support of this project, BidClix has offered NetAid free advertising on its large advertising network. These ads have been appearing since early in December; BidClix expects to reach over ten million people with the NetAid message by the end of the year.
