WASHINGTON, DC - IRRC, a leading provider of corporate governance and social responsibility research and analysis, announced today the appointment of Steven H. Graubart, CFA to the position of Chief Financial Officer. With over 20 years experience in finance, private equity and business development, he will provide strategic and financial leadership in growing the IRRC proxy services business to institutional investors and corporations around the world.

IRRC's President and CEO, Linda Crompton stated, "We are delighted to have Steven join our executive team. He'll be a critical asset in helping IRRC to meet our U.S. and international growth objectives in the coming years."

Mr. Graubart's most recent role includes providing financial management and investment structuring to emerging companies. He was CFO of Prometheus, an education technology company and previous to that position, Managing Director/Partner at Calvert Ventures, LLC, responsible for private equity investments, financial advisory and new venture activities. He acted as sub-advisor to Templeton's Emerging Europe Fund and an advisor to Grameen Bank on obtaining financing from the Soros Foundation for GrameenPhone.

Mr. Graubart holds a Chartered Financial Analyst award, a MALD degree in international finance/business from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, and a BA with high honors in economics from the Sate University of New York at Stony Brook.
