SAYRE, PA, - July 2, 2008 - Your Money Matters announced today that it is renewing its commitment to offset its carbon emissions with Carbonfund.org, one of the country's leading carbon offset organizations. This commitment further establishes Your Money Matters as an environmental leader in the financial planning community and demonstrates the proactive steps Your Money Matters is taking in the fight against global climate change.

"Your Money Matters learned about Carbonfund.org through the National Wildlife Federation, which we were supporting with our time and donations," said Michael Andrew Dinich, Wealth Manager at Your Money Matters. "When we learned that we could offset our firm's carbon emissions and help support reforestation efforts, we leapt at this logical extension of our goal to leave a legacy of good environmental stewardship. Partnering with Carbonfund.org allows us to not only offset our company's emissions, but also locate socially responsible vendors.

"We have always been active in helping clients choose socially responsible investments," Dinich added. "However, we wanted to go further than just investing in socially responsible companies, by being a socially responsible company ourselves. That's why we're pleased to partner with Carbonfund.org and help fund their Louisiana Tensas Tons project, offering a breath of fresh air through local reforestation."

"Good financial values and good environmental values go hand in hand," said Eric Carlson, Executive Director of Carbonfund.org. "We are pleased that Your Money Matters is renewing their position as a Carbonfund.org partner, continuing along with more than 800 other companies to take active steps in the fight against global warming, reducing their climate impact by supporting carbon reducing projects around the world."
