SAN ANTONIO, TX - March 20, 2008 "“ Cold Fire Signs announced today that it is offsetting its carbon emissions with Carbonfund.org, one of the country’s leading carbon offset organizations. In addition to powering its business with 100% wind energy, Cold Fire Signs is offsetting the carbon generated by its vehicle emissions and manufacturing waste through Carbonfund.org's CarbonFree&reg Small Business Program.

By supporting Carbonfund.org's carbon offset projects, Cold Fire Signs is conducting its business as an environmental steward for the sign and graphics industry. In addition, the new partnership establishes Cold Fire Signs as an environmental leader in the central Texas community and demonstrates the proactive steps that Cold Fire Signs is taking in the fight against global climate change.

"I've been in the custom sign making business for a long time and there is a great deal of waste in the manufacturing process. However, I've also seen the sign making technology evolve to where anything is possible-even a custom-made sign that is earth friendly. The processes that Cold Fire Signs uses create up to 50% less waste than conventional offerings, and therefore we're leading the way to a healthier process for our customers and the environment," said Chris Jackson, President of Cold Fire Signs. "I heard about Carbonfund.org from Dell Computer, and Michael Dell started his company similar to how I'm starting Cold Fire Signs. I chose Carbonfund.org because of the amount of funds they contribute to the actual offsetting of carbon. Together we're creating better processes today for a cleaner and healthier environment tomorrow."

"Product manufacturing consumes a lot of energy. Cold Fire Signs first addressed this problem through the use of sustainable energy sources, and now the company is taking an even further step to zero-out its carbon footprint," said Eric Carlson, Executive Director of Carbonfund.org. "We're excited about this new partnership."
