NEW YORK, NY - March 19, 2008 "“ Temptu announced today that it is offsetting its carbon emissions with Carbonfund.org, one of the country's leading carbon offset organizations. Temptu has committed to zero-out its carbon footprint through the donation of a portion of sales from all Temptu airbrush kits to support carbon offsetting through renewable energy, energy efficiency, and reforestation projects. This commitment establishes Temptu as an environmental leader in the makeup community, reflects Temptu's sensitivity to its customers' concern for the environment, and demonstrates the steps Temptu is taking in the fight against global climate change.

Plant a tree with Temptu

Whenever Temptu puts an airbrush to work, energy is used and CO2 is emitted. In order to offset these carbon emissions, Temptu donates a portion of proceeds from the sale of every compressor and airbrush kit towards planting trees through Carbonfund.org's 3rd-party certified reforestation projects. By supporting carbon offset projects, Temptu gives back to our environment on behalf of the company and its customers.

"At Temptu, we are a progressive makeup company committed to sustainable solutions," said Michael Benjamin, President and CEO of Temptu. "Through carbon offsetting and our partnership with Carbonfund.org, we are able to give back to the environment and support the fight against global warming."

"Eco-consciousness predominates in the consumer market these days because the production of consumer goods requires a considerable amount of energy and consumers understand the environmental costs associated with that," said Eric Carlson, Executive Director of Carbonfund.org. "We applaud Temptu for taking proactive measures to make their product more sustainable and to provide consumers with a more carbon-conscious option."
