BLOOMFIELD HILLS, MI - March 18, 2008 - The Wireless Source, Inc. and Charitable Recycling announced today that they are offsetting their carbon emissions with Carbonfund.org, one of the country's leading carbon offset organizations. In addition, for every old cell phone donated they will both recycle the device and make a donation to help reduce additional carbon emissions.

The Wireless Source, Inc. and Charitable Recycling have taken steps to become carbon neutral in 2008 and to reduce additional carbon emissions through their cell phone offset program. This commitment establishes The Wireless Source, Inc. and Charitable Recycling as environmental leaders in the cell phone recycling community and demonstrates the proactive steps they are taking in the fight against global climate change.

The Wireless Source, Inc. and Charitable Recycling's partners are very concerned about global warming. Taking this next step in environmental stewardship is a natural extension of their mission to recycle cell phones in an environmentally friendly way. Combining their ability to collect phones on behalf of other organizations and creating additional carbon offsets is a natural fit. For every phone collected in conjunction with Carbonfund.org, they will make a donation which will then be used to help offset additional carbon emissions.

"We're thrilled to be working with Carbonfund.org on this program," said Robert Sullivan, CEO of The Wireless Source, Inc. "We've been recycling cell phones since 1995 and are proud of our environmental record. This is the logical next step in helping to reduce our own carbon footprint and assisting others to do the same."

"The Wireless Source Inc. recognizes the potential within the technology industry to take simple and effective steps to reduce environmental impact, and we applaud their recycling efforts. By coupling a carbon offset with each phone recycled, they are going the extra mile," said Eric Carlson, Executive Director of Carbonfund.org. "We're truly excited to help The Wireless Source, Inc. go CarbonFree."
