GREENWICH, CT - February 19, 2008 "“ PositiviTee.com announced today that it is offsetting its carbon emissions with Carbonfund.org, one of the country's leading carbon offset organizations. PositiviTee has committed to offset 70 tons of carbon emissions by joining Carbonfund.org's CarbonFree Small Business Program. This commitment establishes PositiviTee as an environmental leader in the fashion community and demonstrates the proactive steps PositiviTee is taking in the fight against global climate change.

PositiviTee's customers are very concerned about global warming. In 2007, PositivTee committed to going green. It introduced 100% organic fibers and water-based inks. All work was moved to a factory certified for fair labor standards. The only "dirty" part of the business was the necessity of shipping the product to the consumer. Through Coop America, PositiviTee heard of Carbonfund.org and committed to offsetting 70 tons of carbon. Since it donates a portion of proceeds from sales to nonprofits like the Jane Goodall Insititute, Grameen Foundation, and Greenpeace, carbon offsets through Carbonfund.org are a natural extension of PositiviTee's commitment to improving the world.

Heidi Matonis, President and Founder of PositiviTee, said, "We took a vote and decided this was our Christmas present to ourselves. It was the last piece to the green puzzle that we've worked so hard to put together."

"By selling t-shirts that not only look great but help bring about positive change, Positivitee is demonstrating the power of socially-conscious small business," said Eric Carlson, Executive Director of Carbonfund.org. "We think this partnership is a superb fit."
