Our organization was created as a single rental property on 60 acres of forest abutting the river with wetlands, home to a great variety of wildlilfe. It expanded into an organization after we decided to open our land to the public, including an interpretive nature trail. In May, 2007, we inaugurated an annual non-profit Habitat Awareness Day for the northern Adirondack region with the intention of enhancing public awareness to the conservation issues of the region and the world.
