Leading Community Investment Company Announces New Senior Vice President of Capital Markets

COLUMBIA, MD. November 30, 2006-- Enterprise Community Investment, Inc., a national leader in affordable housing finance and community investment, announces the appointment of Doug Able to senior vice president, Capital Markets. Able brings nearly 15 years of corporate finance and investment management expertise to Enterprise.

In this newly created position, Able's major focus will be identifying and securing capital for all areas of Enterprise's investment portfolio, including funds for investment in Low-Income Housing Tax Credits and New Market Tax Credits. He will also oversee the company's relationships with existing lenders and investors.

Prior to joining Enterprise, Able was a vice president at M&T Bank where he was responsible for building new commercial banking relationships, comprehensive financial analysis of new and existing clients, and ongoing client management. His career includes positions in investment banking with DB Alex. Brown, and private equity investing with Duke Management Company where he managed 25% of Duke University's $4 billion endowment. Able demonstrated his commitment to social responsibility from 2004 to 2006--during which time he coordinated marketing and public relations for Our Lady of Mount Carmel High School in Essex, Maryland.

Able earned his bachelor's degree in accounting from Boston College and a master's degree in management from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University. He is a member of several local boards including the Windsor Hills Neighbors Association, Our Lady of Mount Carmel High School and is co-founder of the Craig Cromwell Scholarship Fund, which provides full scholarships to African American students at Calvert Hall College High School. He is based in the Columbia, Md. office.
