TORONTO - The Annual Corporate Knights Roundtable will be held on Wednesday June 1 at the Arcadian Court Ballroom in Toronto. This year's Roundtable, entitled "A Reality Check for Corporate Social Responsibility" will examine the progress of the modern corporate social responsibility movement since it began in 1995.

The Roundtable brings together thought leaders and policy shapers from four perspectives - business, activist, union and government to answer the crucial question: What is the proper role for Canadian business in society?

Chaired by The Honourable Barbara McDougall, key speakers include Elizabeth May, Executive Director, Sierra Club of Canada; Barbara Stymiest, COO RBC Financial Group; Jim Stanford, Chief Economist, CAW; Sheila Copps, Former Deputy Prime Minister; and Ed Broadbent, Former Co-Chair, Corporate Accountability Commission.
