- February 23, 2009 - The Ethics and Compliance Officer Association (ECOA) announces the first-ever "Building and Benefiting from an Ethical Organizational Culture" conference to be held April 1-3, 2009, in San Antonio's beautiful Riverwalk district. This 1¾-day event, co-hosted by the Bill Greehey School of Business at St. Mary's University, delivers in-depth knowledge and expertise associated with creating an ethical culture in all types of workplaces. Keynote speakers include James O'Toole, author of Leading Change and Creating the Good Life as well as 16 other books on business ethics and leadership; Graham Weston, chairman of Rackspace Hosting (a 2009 Fortune "100 Best Companies to Work For" winner); Armando Falcon, Jr., former director of the Office of Federal Housing Enterprise Oversight (OFHEO); and Curt Anastasio, president and CEO of NuStar Energy LP, also a 2009 Fortune "100 Best Companies to Work For" winner.

Among the topics examined by participants on this vital subject will be:
