KANSAS CITY, Mo.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 21, 2005--VML, a WPP company based in Kansas City, MO, and one of the world's leading marketing technology companies, announced today the launch of the VFW Foundation's inaugural website, www.vfwfoundation.org, which is solely devoted to supporting active U.S. military. VML was excited to partner with the VFW Foundation because of the nature of their cause: helping those who are defending our freedom.

"We're thrilled to join forces with the VFW Foundation. We not only believe in their mission of supporting active military at home and abroad, but we share their passion for helping those who've given so much for us. We're honored to partner with the VFW Foundation to help them achieve their goals," said Rick Dow, VML's account supervisor.

Dedicated to improving the lives of active service personnel, veterans, their families, and the communities in which they live and work, the VFW Foundation hopes to continue their exponential growth in fundraising via the web. VFW Foundation Administrator Mike Meyer said, "Expanding online will really help raise our visibility and allow people from across the U.S. and around the world to see how we are helping those fighting for freedom everywhere, and allow them to contribute easily towards this noble cause."

The VFW Foundation chose VML to design and produce their site after reviewing multiple firms. "We chose VML not only for their superior creative design and technical expertise, but more importantly because of the passion they showed towards our mission: helping our troops," stated Brigadier General Rufus Forrest.

The website features program descriptions, online donation capabilities, corporate and celebrity support, and heart-to-heart testimonials from real people who have been helped by the many arms of the Foundation. VML will be managing and continuously updating the site moving forward.

"We share an incredible amount of enthusiasm for the VFW Foundation and their mission. It is evident in the hard work and dedication put into the site by our whole team, and we are looking forward to continuing to support those who are defending freedom throughout the world," stated Dow.
