EDMONDS, WA - Greenforgood.com, a start-up offering a wide selection of organic and environment-friendly products, has greatly expanded its web site due to customer and vendor demand. The company also added to its management team, naming Paul Andrews Vice President and Editorial Director and Tena Carter Vice President, Corporate Partnerships.

The web site, www.greenforgood.com now offers in-depth content, an easier way for vendors to sell their products, and new interactive features including customer product ratings, green news, and later this year, Green Road Trip Guide.

"Our customers want one place where they can shop for green and eco-friendly products, get the latest news on the environment, and share their findings with others," said David R. Kaufer, Green for Good Chief Green Officer. "And our vendor partners wanted an easier-to-use system to post their products on the site for faster sales. We have added a ton of new features and interactivity."

New to the site are:

Product Reviews: From a spinning composter to a dechlorinator bath ball, visitors can learn how to incorporate new products into their green lifestyle.

Green News: Get the latest news, views and information related to healthy living.

Green Customer Rating: Customers and staff can post reviews and rate products carried on the web site.

DailyGreen Blog: Building a culture of news, education and community around an e-commerce site and contributing to new paradigms in journalism, marketing and advertising.

Green Product Submission System: Vendors and manufacturers who sell green, organic and eco-friendly products can easily submit and sell their products on greenforgood.com using a new automated system.

Green Road Trip Guide: Visitors will learn where to buy healthy, organic foods, which restaurants offer healthy alternatives, and where local environment classes and events are being held.

Greenforgood.com is the first company to bring a variety of natural, healthy, environmentally friendly and organic products from different companies together on one central web site giving consumers one-stop shopping for green products. The company currently showcases more than 2,000 products made by more than 40 merchants, but Kaufer pointed out that will soon change. "Due to the investment we made in our company's infrastructure, we now have the capability to rapidly increase the number of products offered on GreenforGood.com. We are busy signing deals with dozens of new partners across the country who will be selling their products on the site. It won't be long before we triple the number of both products and vendors featured," he said.

While the company launched the new version of its site, it also announced the additions of Paul Andrews and Tena Carter to its management team. Andrews is known for his work as veteran Seattle Times technology writer and co-author of Gates, the biography of Bill. He is responsible for overseeing the development of all new content on the site.

Carter comes to Green for Good following a highly successful career in publishing, where she most recently served as Vice President, Conferences for Fawcette Technical Publications, Inc. In that role she managed FTP's conference group, which had a peak revenue of $25 million and more than 30 employees. Carter will manage Green for Good's corporate partnerships, including recruiting and securing new product vendors as well as developing, launching and executing the company's trade show and conference strategy and programs.
