As the Head of CSR for the BBC and leading member of the UK Media CSR Forum and recent member of the UK Government's CSR Academy Advisory Board, a former head of the BBC's Public Affairs department in Westminster, a former policy consultant to Downing Street on Urban Policy, Commissioner for Racial Equality, Communications Strategy and Policy Advisor to the Metropolitan Police Commissioner, founding Trustee of the National Family and Parenting Institute and now also as Trustee for Volunteering England, Chairman of UK's Crime Concern, and recently appointed Independent Non Party Political Peer for the House of Lords equips Michael to share valuable insights into the priority the UK Government has attached to CSR through the CSR Academy and it's importance for media organizations seeking to lead the CSR agenda.
Janet Blake - Head of Global CSR. BT has over 102,000 employees across 49 countries and are the 1st Telecommunications company to fully embed CSR into strategy and report. BT's aim is to manage social, ethical and environmental issues in ways that grow shareholder value and help BT and their customers to be more sustainable.
Tess Finch-Lees - the head of diversity for the Global Diversity Network a knowledge sharing forum for global heads of diversity. She provides coaching and strategic support for Directors of FTSE 100 companies and has designed a market leading Diversity and Inclusion Culture Audit tool. Tess is Irish and has lived and worked in the UK, Colombia and France. She speaks English, Spanish and French and has an MSc in Organisational Behaviour from the University of London. Tess has also been one of the leading forces behind renewed world attention on the genocide in the Sudan and will also provide great insight for PR and Advertising agencies on the trends and issues that are now affecting media across the UK relating to social and gender exclusion.
David Grayson CBE OBE a Director of Business in the Community - a man described by the Financial Times as one of the UK's most respected voices on business social responsibility, a man who understands the supply chain, the SME market and the complexities of delivering sustainable business solutions, non financial reporting and the opportunities through new products and services CSR brings. David is the co-author of Every Body's Business and Corporate Social Opportunity produced in association with The Prince of Wales International Business Leaders Forum.
Eric D'Indy - Director of Marketing and Corporate Affairs - Mission Australia. Mission Australia are one of the world's first major charities to embed CSR into organizational strategy. They are also working with the CRI to develop the world's first non-financial reporting for the Not For Profit Sector.
Ray Anderson, Founder and Chairman of the worlds largest carpet manufacturing company - a man who once called himself a corporate plunderer who today is leading the industrial world into a new era of sustainable innovation and manufacturing (as featured in the Documentary "The Corporation") and
Martin McKinnon, the former Marketing Director of Qantas who is now the CEO of Brand Advantage who developed and led one of Australia's most successful CSR Community programs ie the Qantas Spirit of Australia program. Martin shares the secrets to his marketing driven process to deliver sustainable bottom line results.
The Summit is designed to provide senior corporate executives in a variety of industries with the knowledge and practical tools and frameworks for integrating social responsibility as part of their corporate strategy.
