The "La Dolce Vita" special evening consists of a gourmet organic dinner, a 90-minute private performance by Sting, and a "Money-Can't-Buy" auction. The Soil Association is an international charity that has long been in the forefront of the growing global organic movement, championing a system of safe, healthy food production that benefits human health, ensures the highest animal welfare standards, and protects the environment. The "La Dolce Vita" fundraising gala is receiving support from leaders of the world, such as HRH The Prince of Wales, who is Chairman of the Soil Association's Food for Life campaign and Royal Patron of the Soil Association charity, as well as leaders in the business, entertainment, philanthropy and public service industries.
"Building a more sustainable food and farming future is crucial for the survival of the planet," Trudie Styler said. "That is why Sting and I have decided to select the Soil Association as the prime beneficiary of our La Dolce Vita charity event in New York."
