Threemile Canyon Farms - a farm and dairy operating on 93,000 acres of Columbia River basin land about 150 miles east of Portland - today released its first Corporate Social Responsibility Report ("CSR"). The report includes Threemile Canyon Farms' history as a sustainable farm and information about the economic environmental and social impacts of its operations.

"One year ago we initiated a CSR process to help us translate our values into a defined set of practices and measurements so that we can evaluate our day to day operating decisions, our long-term strategies and the downstream consequences of our actions", added Myers.

"In other words CSR forces us to convert our good intentions into intentional good actions - and to be held accountable by our customers, our employees, our communities and other interested parties."

This CSR Report presents data primarily from operating years 2004, 2005 but also traces farm practices over time - as in the growth of organic acres from 272 (in 2002) to 2,688 (projected for 2006).

In a significant section on "Our Workplace" Threemile Canyon Farms repeats its practices and commitments regarding workplace safety and health as well as its continuing commitment to freedom of associations for workers: "Threemile Canyon Farms has been clear and consistent in its belief that workers should have the right to choose, by secret ballot elections whether or not they want to be represented by a union".

The CSR Report also contains a performance audit letter - attesting to the integrity of the CSR process - provided by SGS SSC, an international company based in New Jersey, recognized for its expertise in such performance audits.
