April 22, 2008 - Engaging consumers via Web 2.0 strategies will be among the hot topics when the Cause Marketing Forum, the world's largest gathering of business and nonprofit executives dedicated to building alliances, convenes at the Westin Chicago River North on May 29th.

Another conference highlight will be the presentation of Cause Marketing Golden Halo Awards, the industry’s highest honor, to McDonald's and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Separate keynote speeches highlighting the honorees' cause-related strategies will be given by McDonald's VP of US Communications Richard Ellis and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital Corporate Alliances VP Clark Sweat and National Outreach Director Marlo Thomas.
