VANCOUVER, British Columbia--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 24, 2006--Environmental Control Corporation (OTCBB:EVCC): Environmental Control Corporation has selected Carnot Emission Services to conduct the upcoming durability tests on its catalytic mufflers. The tests will be conducted on two different engines (see descriptions below) outfitted with ECC's patented technology in accordance with the California Code of Regulations, Title 13, Sections 2400-2409, as well as the 40 CFR Part 90.

Carnot Emission Services (CES) is a research and development facility established for the small offroad engine industry, providing engine manufacturers with full-service research, development, testing, durability, certification, and other engine-related contract and consulting services that reduce exhaust emissions. CES, based out of San Antonio (TX), is recognized by both the US Environmental Protection Agency as well as the California Air Resources Board. With clients in four continents, CES has established itself as one of the most reputable independent labs in the world.
Testing will commence after the professional production units have been completed.
