This is a newly created role which is intended to strengthen the impact of the organisation as it grows its international reach.
Under Mark's directorship Tomorrow's Company has secured significant influence as a thought leader and agenda-setter, especially around issues of business leadership, corporate governance, and the future of investment and corporate responsibility. Just two months ago it announced the launch of an international inquiry entitled 'Tomorrow's Global Company', with the support of eleven leading global companies and four renowned civil society representatives.
The Chief Executive will have responsibility for the management and business development of Tomorrow's Company, and will work closely with Mark and other members of the Tomorrow's Company team. With this person in place Mark will work under the new title of Founder Director.
Mark Goyder said, "I am immensely proud of what we as a team have achieved in the first ten years of our life. But I have learned that founders can get in the way of an organisation's development and this is a trap I do not want to fall into. This move will liberate me to concentrate more time on building fresh relationships, championing our ideas and reinforcing our research."

Tomorrow's Company is a business-led think tank, working as a catalyst to help realise the Tomorrow's Company vision - a future for business which makes equal sense to staff, shareholders and society. A not-for-profit membership organisation based in the UK, Tomorrow's Company publishes research, brings practical business people together to generate and share ideas, puts those ideas into the public domain and influences decision makers in companies, the investment community, stakeholder groups, business schools, and government. Tomorrow's Company achieves this through acting as a leading and influential networking hub for organisations, identifying and exploring the future of sustainable success, undertaking and publishing agenda-setting research, promoting the adoption of new ideas and concepts. Tomorrow's Company asks the questions that everyone knows to be important, but others find too difficult to tackle. Membership is open both to organisations and to individuals.
