SAN FRANCISCO, CA. - October 27, 2008 - The Center for Resource Solutions(CRS) will recognize four leading organizations and one individual tonight for their role in building and shaping the market for renewable energy. The award recipients will be honored during the 2008 Green Power Leadership Awards event in conjunction with the 2008 National Renewable Energy Marketing Conference taking place in Denver this week. The CRS Market Development award category recognizes companies, organizations and individual renewable energy leaders working to build the market for green power.
CRS recognizes market leadership through three awards: Green Power Beacon for innovative marketing campaigns to increase widespread awareness of renewable energy options; Green Power Pilot for cutting-edge outreach efforts by individuals and organizations to boost interest in green power; and the Green Power Pioneer Award for continuous individual achievement in support of renewable energy.

A six-person selection committee reviewed nominations in three categories of Market Development Awards. This year's Green Power Market Development Award Winners are:
