SAN FRANCISCO, CA - May 22, 2008 - The Center for Resource Solutions announced today that Enpalo's renewable energy certificate (REC) product, "Enpalo US CleanGen," is now Green-e Energy Certified. Enpalo, run by a team of Stanford University mathematicians and engineers, joins the growing network of renewable energy providers that offer products certified by Green-e Energy, the nation’s leading certification and verification program for renewable energy.

"We are very pleased to announce that Enpalo will participate in Green-e Energy by offering a certified renewable energy option to its customers," said Andrew Nourafshan, Green-e program analyst. "Certification of the 'Enpalo US CleanGen' REC product has just made it even easier for people nationwide to reduce the environmental impact of the electricity they use."

Enpalo can now offer its residential, commercial, and wholesale customers a product comprising 100% wind RECs sourced from wind farms across the nation. By purchasing the "Enpalo US CleanGen" product, customers will support currently available renewable resources as well as aid the development of new renewable energy projects in the U.S.

"The green power market has reached a critical point where businesses and residential customers demand verified quality," said Evan Macmillan, product development director for Enpalo. "We created 'Enpalo US CleanGen' in response to that need. It is a wind energy product that is thoroughly researched and Green-e Energy Certified. Enpalo is thrilled to be working with Green-e Energy to expand the market for green power in the United States and, ultimately, change the composition of the grid."

Green-e Energy is the leading renewable energy certification and verification program in the U.S., with over 190 participating vendors selling nearly 10 million MWhs of renewable energy in 2006. The program provides independent, third-party certification to ensure certified renewable energy meets strict environmental and consumer protection standards.

Providers of Green-e Energy Certified renewable energy agree to abide by the Green-e Energy Code of Conduct and meet strict disclosure and truth-in-advertising requirements. All marketers of Green-e Energy Certified products undergo an annual verification audit to document that the company purchased and/or generated enough quantity and type of renewable energy to meet customer demand and marketing claims.

The Green-e logo, the national symbol for renewable energy excellence, enables a growing number of consumers to easily identify high quality, certified renewable energy options, as well as everyday consumer products that are produced by companies that use renewable energy in their operations.
