• 206 million tablets of Combivir and Epivir supplied to the developing world. 86 million of these came directly from GSK and a further 120 million were supplied by generic companies in sub"“Saharan Africa that have received voluntary licences from GSK

But GSK believes it needs to address complex issues associated with the research, manufacture and sale of medicines - from the publication of research results and marketing practices of pharmaceutical sales representatives, to the use of animals in research and the environmental impacts of manufacturing processes.
