LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 11, 2007--The Liquid Experience Group, a division of Beverage Concepts LLC and manufacturer of The Jimi Hendrix Liquid Experience branded beverage line, and the MusiCares Foundation(R) announced today a partnership that will aid musicians through the distinguished MusiCares(R) MAP Fund(SM), which provides members of the music community access to addiction recovery treatment regardless of their financial situation. The Liquid Experience Group will kick-off the partnership at the third annual MusiCares MAP Fund benefit concert on May 11th in Hollywood to support the MusiCares Addiction Recovery Program (MAP) with a donation of $25,000. This is the first of many donations that The Liquid Experience Group will be making to MusiCares as well as many other charitable programs that support artists and the legacy of musicians.

The Liquid Experience Group is committed to this project and will continue to donate a portion of the beverage line's profits to MusiCares as well as other charitable entities that are in line with the companies overall vision.

"This isn't just about selling a beverage," said Josh Glass, CEO of The Liquid Experience Group. "Our partnership is about creating and solidifying a global community that will be a part of ensuring that music, and the artists who create it, are protected, in every conceivable way, from the very beginning of their career - to the very end."

The cause-driven Liquid Experience Group has positioned the company to be a model for corporate philanthropy and from the very start has vowed to "give back" to artists and communities by way of charitable donations, endowment programs and assistance funds. The MusiCares relationship is the first partnership announcement in the company's Community Relations Program.

As a result of acquiring MAP in September 2004, MusiCares developed the MusiCares MAP Fund as a pool of resources set aside specifically to address addiction recovery and sober living needs.

Named for the Musicians Assistance Program, the MusiCares MAP Fund represents the joint goal of MAP and MusiCares to provide members of the music community access to addiction recovery treatment regardless of their financial circumstances.
