MINNEAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 11, 2007--Nash Finch Company (Nasdaq:NAFC), today announced a donation of 1,500 books through Nash Finch's NFC Foundation as part of the first Lift Up America event at a Major League Baseball game. In addition, Nash Finch is providing 1,500 cans of Our Family(R) Chicken Noodle soup and 1,500 boxes of Our Family(R) Fruit Snacks. The Lift Up America event takes place on June 12, 2007, at the Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome in Minneapolis. Lift Up America (www.LiftUpAmerica) is a collaboration of companies working with professional and college sports teams and local nonprofit agencies to provide the gifts of food, hearing and comfort to our nation's less fortunate.
