Both bestselling authors co-founded MBDC, a product and process design firm dedicated to revolutionizing the design of products and services world-wide, in 1995 to promote and shape what they call the "Next Industrial Revolution" through the introduction of a new design paradigm called Cradle to Cradle Design, and the implementation of eco-effective design principles.

This year's conference programme will be divided into six unique sessions -- four panels and two workshops -- which will focus on four main themes:

1) Cradle to Cradle: Introducing the Concept;

3) Sustainable Building;
4) Climate Change Solutions.

The Athens conference will also feature networking breaks and interactive discussions focusing on business strategy, corporate social responsibility (CSR), climate change and sustainable development solutions for the 21st century. The one-day event will come to a close with the special annual "CEO & CSR Awards 2008" ceremony, where prestigious organisations, senior executives and leading entrepreneurs will be honoured for their CSR actions, visionary achievements and sustainable development solutions.

The CEO & CSR Conference's mission is to be Greece's most prominent annual event and platform where corporate leaders have the opportunity to network, do business, engage in an open dialogue with top experts and fellow captains of industry who focus on the Triple Bottom Line (Profits, Planet and People) of their social, environmental and economic successes, and explore more innovative, sustainable and responsible ways of doing business. Last year's CEO & CSR Conference was attended by 200 Greek and international business leaders, senior executives, top experts, government and media representatives.

The three-member Organising Committee of the CEO & CSR Conference 2008 consists of:

- Mr. Konstantinos Ouzounis, Chairman & CEO, Money Conferences
- Mr. Peter Michel Heilmann, President, EuroCharity
- Mr. Nikos Avlonas, Managing Director, Centre for Sustainability & Excellence (CSE)

Finally, the organisers are pleased to announce that the CEO & CSR Conference 2008 will be Climate-Neutral with the assistance of Switzerland's myclimate - The Climate Protection Partnership (www.myclimate.org/index.php?lang=en), which is based on the concept of voluntary and innovative solutions for climate protection as well as the promotion of renewable energies and energy-efficient technologies. The myclimate foundation is a flourishing, non-profit, tax-exempt organisation which supports projects that lead to a direct reduction of greenhouse gases and thus making tangible climate protection possible.
