Annual Meeting of OCEG Technology Council Hosted by Metricstream

Phoenix, AZ and Redwood Shores, CA - June 11, 2008 - Leading Technology solution providers will join together in a meeting hosted by OCEG Charter Member MetricStream, Inc., on July 10 and 11 to focus on the hottest issues in Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) technology - and to advance the tools and processes that implement GRC management. At this annual gathering of OCEG's Technology Council, representatives from organizations including MetricStream, Microsoft, Computer Associates, and Deloitte Consulting will work to accelerate the development of
an integrated GRC Blueprint(TM) and GRC Roadmap(TM) that will map the technologies and implementation pathways that sustain GRC effectiveness in any organization.

The GRC Blueprint(TM) is a comprehensive enterprise software information and services architecture development program of the OCEG Technology Council. The Blueprint helps GRC executives and managers understand the core functionality and applications that comprise a GRC technology backbone. OCEG's GRC Roadmap(TM) technology implementation maturity model helps practitioners understand how to embed GRC criteria in technology planning, budgeting, product selection, infrastructure, support and service delivery. Both programs assist solution providers by improving their GRC product descriptions and designs for the market. The OCEG Technology Council is also defining the GRC-XML(TM) specifications which will allow GRC technology components to exchange information and integrate with existing business applications.
