Chicago / London / Cologne - March 19, 2009 - Where better learn about the future of a regulated U.S. Carbon market than in the city where legislation is being made? When it comes to selecting a location for discussing market trends, emerging market opportunities and policy designed to shape future carbon legislation, the proximity to the legislative and executive branches makes Washington, DC the number one choice.

CarbonTradeEx America is a trade show and conference program. While the trade show is organized by Koelnmesse, the conference program is developed by the Carbon Markets & Investors Association (CMIA) with assistance of the Climate Group. The conference program will consist of 25 sessions with more than 120 senior level speakers focusing on policy, market and emerging opportunities within the U.S. Carbon market. This event is designed to help shape the course towards a regulated Carbon Market in the U.S. Key principals in finance, business and environmental nongovernmental organizations will be discussing the interplay between climate, energy and economic policies at both the domestic and international levels.
