CERRITOS, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 12/17/07 -- Isuzu Motors America, Inc. today announced that it will match the $10,332 in donations made by its top dealers to Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) during a recent dealer recognition event, for a total contribution to the organization of $20,664.

The Wounded Warrior Project is dedicated to bringing comfort and support to those men and women of the United States Armed Forces who have been severely injured during the conflicts in Iraq, Afghanistan and other locations around the world.

Isuzu offered its top volume dealers the opportunity to support the WWP's efforts by donating a portion of their winnings during a recent dealer incentive program.

"Supporting America's true heroes has been important to all of us at Isuzu Motors America for a long time," said J. Terry Maloney, president and COO of Isuzu Motors America, Inc. "We were one of the first to offer a military appreciation bonus incentive for the purchase of a new vehicle. And in October, we became the first and only make to offer an appreciation bonus incentive to all of America's first-response personnel -- police, firefighters, EMTs, as well as our active-duty and retired military personnel."

Since October 2007, all active or retired U.S. law enforcement at the city, state or federal level, all active or retired firefighters, and active or retired U.S. military personnel have been eligible to receive $500 towards the retail purchase of a new Isuzu vehicle.
Active U.S. military personnel have been eligible to receive a similar incentive since May 2003, and retired U.S. military personnel since September 2007. The incentives are scheduled to expire January 3, 2008.

Wounded Warrior Project has reached thousands of wounded servicemen and women, providing assistance and support in the transition from a hospital bed to an independent and productive life.

WWP is a non-profit organization headquartered in Jacksonville, Florida which provides direct programs and support to service members who have been severely injured in current military conflicts. For more information on WWP, please call (904) 296-7350 or visit www.woundedwarriorproject.org.
