SAN FRANCISCO, April 15 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Suzanne Jamieson, a licensed San Francisco street artist and special event painter, will create a live scene painting at the San Francisco Bay Area NACE (National Association of Catering Executives) annual Gala. The Alice in Wonderland themed benefit for "Project Night Night," a San Francisco charity for homeless children, will be held at the new InterContinental San Francisco Hotel on April 17.

Guests will witness the creation of Jamieson's spontaneous painting that Elena Lipkins, NACE Gala Co-chair calls, "the newest trend in interactive special event entertainment," participate in silent and live auctions of items donated by over one hundred and fifty sponsors, enjoy a four course meal with matched wines, be regaled with a twenty minute rendition from the traveling cast of "Jersey Boys," and dance to live music. Jamieson's painting will be auctioned at the end of the night.

"Project Night Night" donates over 15,000 individual tote bags every year containing an age-appropriate book, a security blanket, and a stuffed animal to comfort homeless children in the shelter system. It was chosen by San Francisco Magazine as "Best Children's Charity," and included in Glamour magazine's article, "31 Days of Giving."

Kendra Robins, founder and executive director of "Project Night Night" says, "NACE's 2006 contribution permitted us to distribute 200 Night Night Packages to homeless children in the Bay Area. We can't wait to see what 2008's support will bring!"

The event will be hosted at the dramatic new InterContinental San Francisco at Fifth Street and Howard Avenue, a 32-story blue glass tower with floor-to-ceiling windows in every room providing great views, designed by Patri Merker Architects.

Gwen Helbush, co-chair of the recent Bay Area Wedding Network's Masquerade Ball at the newly renovated Julia Morgan Ballroom where Jamieson also performed a live art painting, comments, "Suzanne's talent is humbling -- to be able to take a blank canvas to an amazing completed work of art is remarkable, but to do it in such a short period of time is staggering."
