September 3, 2008 - The international food retailer, Delhaize Group, has published its first Corporate Responsibility Report, entitled "A Healthy Approach to Life".
The report describes how the Group has contributed to the health and wellbeing of its customers, associates and the communities in which it operates through its activities in three key areas: Products, People and Planet. Within each of these three areas, the report focuses on the Group's strategic priorities. These include:
- Associate development (People)
- Energy conservation (Planet)
