CINCINNATI, OH. - November 20, 2008 - The Procter & Gamble Company (NYSE:PG) today released its 2008 Sustainability Report, highlighting the company's long-term commitment to responsible growth and progress toward meeting its established sustainability goals. Titled "Designed to Innovate...Sustainably," the comprehensive report outlines P&G's approach to sustainable development including how the company is working with key stakeholders and employees to further its sustainability progress. P&G's sustainability report was prepared using the Global Reporting Initiative's (GRI) G3 guidelines. The GRI report is the most widely used sustainability reporting framework that includes the principles and indicators global organizations use to measure and report economic, environmental and social performance.
