Vancouver, BC -- April 7, 2009 - The management team of Renewal Partners announces the launch of Renewal2 Investment Fund, a social venture fund building upon 15 years' experience in social investing. Renewal2 provides an opportunity for investors across North America to participate in the development of business at the forefront of social and environmental innovation.

The Renewal2 team is currently raising capital (target fund size is $30 to $50 million) that will support the development of scalable businesses in underfunded sectors, including organic and natural foods, green consumer products, environmental innovation, green building, social media, and social finance. The first close of the fund is planned for Spring 2009, followed by a final close at the end of the year.
