Headlining the lineup of equipment in the New Holland booth were five never-before-seen launches: the Roll-Belt™ 1 Series, PowerStar Electro Command™, MacDon FD2 PLUS header, the all-new WORKMASTER™ PLUS series and retrofit kits for IntelliSense™ Sprayer Automation.

New Holland is expanding its IntelliSense Sprayer Automation system with a new retrofit kit, bringing the same <a href="https://media.cnh.com/north-america/north-america/new-holland-launches-intellisense--sprayer-automation--the-most-versatile-and-productive-sense-and-a/s/c3ecac48-ff5d-477e-b99b-a5798304975f" target="_blank">smart factory-fit technology</a> to existing fleets. With no subscriptions or per-acre fees, it is the most complete sense and act retrofit offering for the Guardian™ Front Boom Sprayer, model year 2023 and newer.

The system offers two advanced modes, Live VRA and Selective Spraying, to optimize input placement and reduce herbicide use by up to 60%. Seamless integration with FieldOps and Raven Slingshot® gives operators full-farm visibility and control of their operations.

Like many of you, I have strong emotions about the 20th anniversary of Hurricane Katrina and its impact on the city we call home — New Orleans. I remain in awe of nature’s raw power on that fateful day and deeply sad about the tragedy brought by the storm to so many. Considering Katrina, and its equally terrifying counterpart Hurricane Rita which struck the Louisiana/Texas border just a few weeks later, I’m also inspired by how our recovery showed the power and resilience of the human spirit and what determined people coming together can achieve.

Then, as now, New Orleans was the home to Entergy’s corporate headquarters. Thousands of our employees and their families lived in the places hardest hit by Katrina. I’m honored that our employees met the challenge head on, from those working at our generation plants and headquarters to those restoring power at Entergy New Orleans, our local operating company. Many of them helped the region recover even as they suffered their own personal losses.

The spirit of that day endures in our vision statement “We Power Life” as we channel those lessons into the work that we do every day, even twenty years later from that impactful time.

Today, we’re a leader across our industry and in our hometown. Our utility workers are nationally recognized for storm response. In fact, during a major storm anywhere in the country, there’s a good chance Entergy will be called on for expertise and support.

We are a leader in corporate giving. For the 10th year, Entergy was named to The Civic 50, the Points of Light prestigious annual list that recognizes top companies for employee volunteerism and community investment. In 2024 alone, we contributed $4.3 million to more than 100 New Orleans nonprofits.

And we are a leader in economic development by collaborating to help Louisiana secure major new investments in the data center, LNG, steel, and petrochemical industries. Earlier this year, we served as founding partner for the Super Bowl 59 Host Committee, contributing millions to host this major event that brought more than $1.25 billion in economic impact to our state, region and city.

We continue our work in close collaboration with our regulators and communities as we build energy infrastructure that makes the grid stronger and more resilient for years to come. An energy grid designed to withstand the harshest conditions. That work balances affordability, reliability and sustainability on behalf of all our customers.

In New Orleans, the City Council recently approved Phase 1 of our proposed resilience plan, which includes strengthening more than 3,000 structures and upgrading more than 60 miles of electric lines.

By reinforcing our grid ahead of severe weather, Louisiana customers will save an estimated $1.2 billion in storm costs.

The Public Utility Commission of Texas approved an investment of $137 million in projects to strengthen the Southeast Texas power grid, reduce storm-related outages, and save customers millions in restoration costs for decades.

And while we are making these needed investments, we are mindful that 40% of our residential customers live at or below the poverty level. That reality is part of each business decision we make in New Orleans and everywhere we serve. As a result, we continue to maintain some of the lowest electric rates in the country and work hard every day to keep bills as low as possible.

Twenty years on, the lessons of Katrina endure, and the resilience of this community continues to inspire. New Orleans remains our home as we work for everyone and honor our commitment to safely serve our city and the region. The people of Entergy are optimistic about the future, ready for anything, and striving to lead the way to a brighter future for all of us.

At Workiva, our commitment to sustainability is deeply ingrained in our strategic vision. Our <a href="https://www.workiva.com/resources/workiva-sustainability-report?utm_segment=Sustainability-Management&amp;utm_geo=Global&amp;utm_campaign=Sustainability-Management&amp;utm_medium=Referral&amp;utm_type=Web&amp;utm_source=3BL" target="_blank">2024 Sustainability Report</a> showcases progress in innovation, people and philanthropy, and sustainability, while also demonstrating how we leverage Workiva AI to enhance the reporting process.

By leveraging Workiva AI within our Sustainability Management solution, we delivered a 54-page sustainability report in less than three and a half months — all while ensuring the integrity and responsible handling of our sensitive, non-public data. In fact, this year’s report was completed 30% faster than prior years with input from over 90 Workiva employees and a multi-stage review. Over 35 metrics also received limited assurance by a third-party data provider.

Here’s how we achieved those efficiencies in developing our sustainability report.

Using Workiva AI for Sustainability Management

Through our own use of Workiva AI, we’ve seen firsthand how it can improve the creation of complex documents and output quality. Here’s how we used it to streamline and enhance our sustainability report in five key areas.

<ol><li dir="ltr">Benchmark peer activity: Reviewed public sustainability reports from peer technology companies to extract key data and themes (e.g., waste, water, biodiversity) for comparative analysis, which was then refined by our Global Sustainability team. This reflects a broader trend among sustainability professionals with 64% reporting that AI helps them quickly consume disclosure data for benchmarking, <a href="https://www.workiva.com/resources/2025-practitioner-survey" target="_blank">according to a recent survey.</a></li>
	<li dir="ltr">Develop new targets: Drafted and aligned new sustainability targets for maximum impact.</li>
	<li dir="ltr">Assess alignment with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs): Rapidly assessed Workiva’s comprehensive alignment with the UN SDGs.</li>
	<li dir="ltr">Draft new disclosures: Streamlined disclosures and ensured compliance with voluntary frameworks and emerging regulations.</li>
	<li dir="ltr">Generate initial data-driven insights: Guided narrative development by analyzing datasets directly within the platform, which was then further augmented by our team.</li>
</ol>Workiva AI accelerated our reporting by quickly summarizing information, identifying gaps, and suggesting improvements, allowing our team to focus on the narrative of the report. While AI enhances our capabilities, it doesn’t replace human insight. Leveraging AI allowed us to prioritize education and acumen building with Workiva’s sustainability governance groups, and engage more with our environmental workstream to drive actions supporting our decarbonization commitments and 2040 net-zero goal.

It’s important to address AI's energy consumption by choosing a secure, intelligent platform that utilizes Large Language Models (LLMs) from providers focused on sustainable cloud computing, renewable energy, and data center efficiency. Prioritizing these areas aligns AI with strategies for positive environmental impact.

Four Ways to Maximize Generative AI's Potential

As we developed our report, we identified the following best practices to enhance the effectiveness of generative AI:

<ol><li dir="ltr">Integration is key. Having AI directly within our data platform and reporting tools boosted our confidence. We could quickly and reliably verify AI-generated insights against our own content and data, ensuring responsible use of even sensitive, non-public data.</li>
	<li dir="ltr">Prompting matters. It can take several iterations to refine a prompt. By leveraging the Workiva AI prompt library recommendations, we were able to quickly iterate to get the best result from the strongest prompt.</li>
	<li dir="ltr">Tailor tone and language. AI can quickly adapt messaging to different audiences and formats—saving significant time when shifting between investor communication, social media platforms, and internal communications for employees. AI can also reiterate key messages directly from our trusted source content, ensuring accuracy and brand consistency.</li>
	<li dir="ltr">Continuous learning. As AI continues to evolve, connecting with peers and AI experts at your company can spark new ideas and uncover practical use cases. At the same time, the more you engage with AI, the smarter it becomes—learning your context, language, and patterns to deliver personalized and high-impact support. At Henkel’s largest manufacturing facility for laundry products, they are at the center of organizing volunteer efforts, donation drives, and building strong ties with local partners.

Andy and Courtney pride themselves on their deep connection to the Bowling Green community – a value that has become core to their roles at Henkel. Henkel’s local community work focuses on creating a safer, stronger future for generations to come. The Bowling Green team organizes about 10 community service events with hundreds of employees participating every year.

Among their many community service events is the Barren River Area Child Advocacy Center’s <a href="https://www.bracac.org/GTBR" rel="noopener" target="_blank">Great Teddy Bear Run</a>, an event advocating for children who are survivors of sexual abuse. Henkel supports the cause financially and employees join in the motorcycle ride and donate teddy bears to comfort children in need. Every small gesture helps to make a big impact.

This program provides senior volunteers an opportunity to support, mentor, and nurture children. To help these wonderful grandparent volunteers, Henkel donates pallets of laundry detergent, body soap and hair care products. Along with helping to ease costs, volunteers can use as a teaching tool for children in their care to learn basic activities such as washing a load of clothes.

For example, they organized a makeshift assembly line on the manufacturing floor, where employees came together to create care packages for a local women’s shelter. They go above and beyond for their community and inspire impactful actions among their coworkers, opening the door for larger change across their region.

Getting Their Hands Dirty

For Bowling Green employees, <a href="https://www.fecbg.com/mudhappens" rel="noopener" target="_blank">Mud Happens</a> stands out as a signature example of their hands-on approach to making a difference. The annual, mud-filled 5k obstacle course event in August brings together thousands of people from all walks of life for a day of fun and of course mud, to raise awareness and help prevent child abuse. Henkel has been a sponsor of Mud Happens for over 10 years, contributing more than $60,000 to date, and proudly stepped up as title sponsor five years ago.

We’re seeing institutional investors around the world become more interested in sustainable investment products—and we’re responding.

Our approach

As a global asset manager, we’ve focused on converting and launching new funds for clients whom sustainability is a key consideration and to comply with greater expectations of sustainability standards from regulators.

Our actions and performance in 2024

In 2024, we launched six new sustainable investing products, three we consider to have enhanced ESG integration features and three thematic strategies.

Of the six new products launched, two are Article 8 products under the EU’s Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR). We also converted four existing products to Article 8 status and one existing product to Article 9 status under the EU’s Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR).

We’ve launched products in 2024 that help us meet our clients’ preferences.

<ul><li>Spectrum Asset Management launched two SFDR Article 8 UCITS Funds, Principal High Grade Capital Securities Fund and Principal Capital Securities Fund, expanding our ESG Integration Enhanced Features product offering. Both of these funds consider greenhouse gas emissions reduction and transitioning to renewable sources of power. They exclude companies with significant revenue derived from the production of thermal coal and direct producers of controversial chemicals such as herbicides and pesticides deemed as health hazards.</li>
	<li>In Malaysia, we launched the Principal Sustainable Conservative Bond Fund, which focuses on reducing carbon emissions by investing in a portfolio of low carbon intensity bonds, helping foster the transition to a net zero carbon economy in the long run. We’ve classified this fund as ESG Integration Enhanced Features.</li>
	<li>The Global Climate and Environment strategy is a thematic product that invests in companies with net zero ambitions and a focus on decoupling economic growth from environmental degradation.</li>
	<li>There are large and long-term structural investment opportunities that come from the transition, with innovations in green hydrogen, energy efficiency improvements, and deployment of renewable energy. Companies that will deliver these solutions are set to gain material opportunities to create value over the coming decades.</li>
	<li>The Global Sustainable Food and Biodiversity Fund is an SFDR Article 9 thematic fund that invests in equity securities of companies that deliver the solutions to feeding the world sustainably. KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia, September 3, 2025 /CSRwire/ - The Mastercard Center for Inclusive Growth (the Center) announced a landmark collaboration with the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Business Advisory Council to host the inaugural Mastercard ASEAN Inclusive Growth Summit (the Summit) in Kuala Lumpur in late October – the first of three convenings set to take place in Southeast Asia over the next three years. This significant collaboration deepens Mastercard’s commitment to economic growth supporting consumers and small businesses in the Asia-Pacific region.

The collaboration underscores the company’s alignment with the Business Advisory Council’s focus on sustained, inclusive economic growth in the region, amidst an evolving global and economic landscape. The Summit builds on the success of the Center’s <a href="https://globalinclusivegrowthsummit.com/" target="_blank">Global Inclusive Growth Summit</a> and aims to catalyze sustainable economic growth and advance ASEAN’s collective prosperity by demonstrating how regional and business leaders can come together to create opportunities for all. The event aims to spur an exchange of ideas between leaders in the East and West, opening the door to innovation, partnerships, shared collaboration and outcomes for the region.

According to the <a href="https://blog.worlddatalab.com/wdl/how-the-world-has-achieved-middle-class-dominance-against-the-odds?_gl=1*b94n6m*_gcl_au*NTM1MDU4NjI3LjE3NTQzMjY4NzM." target="_blank">World Data Lab</a>, more than 1.1 billion people will join the global middle class in the next decade (by 2035), with individuals in Asia driving the majority of that growth. In the ASEAN region, economies have reached a tipping point where half of its citizens belong to the middle class. By 2035, the ASEAN region’s middle class is projected to reach 450 million, representing 56% of the population.

At the same time, Southeast Asia’s digital economy is expected to grow exponentially, reaching US$560 billion in gross merchandise value by 2030 from US$263 billion in 2024[1]. This digital growth requires deliberate policies, infrastructure investment, cross-sector collaboration and targeted solutions so that the benefits of digitalization can reach more people. Coupled with the region’s fast-growing young, digital-first population, the opportunity to build a more inclusive, secure and sustainable digital economy is both immense and critical.

The Summit will bring together government leaders, business pioneers, and development organizations in a high-level forum focused on inclusive and sustainable growth, with a spotlight on micro-, small- and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs), digital innovation and impact-driven partnerships. The Summit builds on Mastercard’s existing efforts in the ASEAN region, including:

<ul><li>Investing in small business development – MSMEs make up more than 97 percent of all businesses in Southeast Asia and provide 85 percent of the employment[2]. In Malaysia, MSMEs contribute roughly 40% of GDP, employing over seven million people[3]. The Mastercard Center for Inclusive Growth supports this vital segment through its flagship Mastercard Strive programs in Malaysia and Indonesia, aiming to uplift 400,000 MSMEs across the two countries through digital upskilling programs, mentoring and networking opportunities, and essential resources for accessing credit. Complementing these efforts, the Center is <a href="https://www.mastercard.com/news/ap/en/newsroom/press-releases/en/2024/adb-and-mastercard-partner-to-mobilize-financing-for-msmes/" target="_blank">collaborating</a> with the Asian Development Bank (ADB) to catalyze up to US$1 billion in credit through ADB financing for MSMEs across Asia Pacific, with at least half focused for women-led or climate-focused enterprises.</li>
	<li>Strengthening cyber resilience – Recognizing that an economy is only as strong as its weakest link in cybersecurity, Mastercard has collaborated with the ASEAN Foundation to roll out a range of initiatives to enhance the cybersecurity capabilities of public sector entities and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the region, by equipping them with critical knowledge, tools and training. In addition, Mastercard has also been actively championing industry collaboration to drive collective action to prevent, detect, and respond to evolving cyber threats. For instance, Mastercard played a key role in initiating the Singapore and Indonesia chapters of the Global Anti Scam Alliance (GASA), serving as Chair and Vice-Chair respectively, and joined hands with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in its global alliance in combating scams.</li>
	<li>Driving in-bound tourism – Mastercard is working with tourism ministries and authorities across Southeast Asia to help spur growth and create value for the tourism sector – building on the sector’s proven role as a key driver of inclusive economic growth. For instance, Mastercard has been collaborating with Tourism Malaysia to transform and digitize the traveler experience, attract high-value inbound visitors through targeted outreach and unique offerings, and position Malaysia as a premier travel destination, supporting the country’s Visit Malaysia (VM) 2026 goals. These collaborations not only fuel growth for the travel sector, but also benefit local small businesses of all stripes, creating more jobs and making a positive impact that extends well beyond tourism itself.</li>
	<li>Accelerating the adoption of digital payments – Mastercard has been actively driving the adoption of digital and contactless payments in Southeast Asia to enable secure and seamless everyday transactions and open up access to a broader market for businesses through digital acceptance.
	<ul><li>Recently, Mastercard expanded its open-loop payments solutions for transit to the Philippines and Vietnam, bringing commuters greater flexibility and convenience, driving the use of contactless payments, and helping to modernize public transportation systems in Southeast Asia.</li>
		<li>Mastercard is collaborating with national digital payments networks to enable real-time payments in Thailand and the Philippines. These real-time payments platforms, PromptPay in Thailand and InstaPay in the Philippines, have brought about widespread adoption of digital payments and is the ubiquitous payment method for everyday transactions among individuals. Now, even the smallest of merchants can go cashless and accept digital payments, connecting them to the digital financial ecosystem and unlocking new opportunities.</li>

For Daniella, engineering was never just about circuits and code—it was about creativity, curiosity, and finding meaningful ways to improve the world around her. Now a Systems Engineer in the Technical Compliance and Certification team at Cummins, she’s helping shape cleaner, more efficient technologies with a passion rooted in her earliest experiences.

Growing up in North Naples, Florida, Daniella developed a strong interest in both the arts and technology. She spent her childhood creating—sculpting, painting, crafting—and often joined her father at local performing arts theaters and film sets, assisting with the setup and programming of stage lights. “That’s where I started falling in love with electronics,” she recalls. “Lighting systems, animatronics, digital effects—they all sparked something in me.”

Originally torn between pursuing art or a more technical field, Daniella looked to practical effects industry role models and saw a path forward in electrical engineering. “I read that Grant Imahara had a degree in EE and worked in animatronics. That clicked for me,” she says. She earned her associate’s degree while tutoring math and chemistry, then transferred to the University of South Florida to complete her bachelor’s in electrical engineering.

Daniella joined Cummins after graduation in 2012, drawn by the company’s mission and global culture. “I remember being on a bus tour during my interview process and hearing that more than 100 languages were spoken in the local community. That really stuck with me,” she says. “It felt like a place where I could grow—both personally and professionally.”

Today, Daniella works on improving internal processes for compliance and certification—critical work that ensures Cummins products meet emissions and on-board diagnostics standards. “When I was a kid, I hated seeing trucks spewing black smoke. I love that I now get to play a role in preventing that,” she says.

Her day-to-day blends technical problem-solving with collaboration. She supports a team of engineers by streamlining workflows, documenting best practices, and applying her systems engineering skills to create smarter, more efficient ways of working. “It’s rewarding to know the work I do helps others be more effective in theirs.”

Daniella also appreciates the flexibility Cummins provides—both professionally and personally. She works remotely part of the week, which allows her to balance her responsibilities while staying connected to family and community. “When my dad had to move after Hurricane Ian, I was able to help him relocate while still doing my job. That kind of support matters,” she shares.

Outside of work, Daniella volunteers as a programming mentor for local middle school robotics teams, helping students learn Java and build confidence in STEM. “I didn’t have those kinds of opportunities when I was their age,” she says. “Now I get to help create them.”

She’s also deeply engaged in employee development within Cummins. She earned her master’s in systems engineering from Cornell University with support from the company, and she teaches in the internal Systems Engineering Certificate Program. “It helped me build confidence and overcome imposter syndrome. It’s been one of the most empowering experiences of my career.”

Over the years, Daniella has leaned into Cummins' inclusive culture and growth mindset. “There are so many doors open here,” she says. “Even though I started with a focus in controls testing, I’ve been able to stretch into process improvements, tool and system integration, and now regulatory work.”

Asked what keeps her motivated, she doesn’t hesitate: “The people. My teammates boost my average,” she says with a smile. “I’m surrounded by folks with such deep expertise and a willingness to share it. That collaborative spirit is something special.”

Looking ahead, Daniella is excited to keep learning—and to keep making a difference. “I want to continue contributing to cleaner technologies, mentoring others, and creating systems that work better for everyone. At Cummins, I get to do all of that.”
