While we celebrate National Gratitude Month in November, our Team Members are actively engaged in their communities all year round and play a significant role in living our Covia value, Act Responsibly.

In partnership with IslaUrbana and local communities in Zacatlan and Ahuazotepec, Mexico, Covia's Mexico operations launched a new initiative called Schools of Rain (Escuelas de Lluvia).

On Tuesday, October 10, Covia hosted more than 115 golfers in support of United Way's efforts to unite people and resources to measurably improve the self-sufficiency of individuals and families.

Covia, a leading provider of high-quality, diversified specialty minerals and material solutions for the industrial and energy markets, announced that, for the second consecutive year, the company was awarded a bronze medal for sustainable performance of its business by EcoVadis.

At Covia, we promote waste management practices aimed at reducing the volume of waste we generate, as well as encouraging the responsible handling of such waste.

The commitment to responsible water stewardship is shared across our organization. In 2022, our facilities continued to leverage new technologies and innovative conservation strategies to help reduce our consumption, preserve local water supplies, and improve water quality.

On September 6th, Covia held our annual Safety Day at all our locations, which is designed to raise awareness among our team members about critical safety and health issues.
