Environmentally/Socially Responsible Video Submissions Welcome!

LOS ANGELES, CA - February 25, 2008 - Activist Video (, a new breakthrough free video-sharing site for activist communities and social justice issues is looking for video submissions!

Initiated by the National Immigrant Solidarity Network and Activist Design Studio, is the first activist-run global video-sharing site for community and social justice videos. Environment, labor issues, immigrant rights, peace, justice, and youth activism will be the main focus. Video links and issue pages will serve as a tool for community education and social activism campaigns. has the following video categories: Music, Art & Animation, Movies & Shorts, News, Technology & Products, People & Blogs, Peace & Justice, Education, Environment, Economic Justice, Anti-Globalization, Social Justice, Labor, Community, Politics, Womyn, LGBTQ, Election 2008, Immigrant Rights and Civil Liberties.

We welcome progressive media, independent producers, community organizations and socially responsible business to submit videos that could teach thousands of community activists and socially minded viewers across the world.
