Here are some of the report's highlights:
CO2 emissions per ton of cement, which were externally audited, decreased 2.4% and alternative fuel use increased to 7%
Targets for alternative raw materials use and the number of active cement sites with rehabilitation plans, set at 12% and 82% respectively, were met. Work continues towards longer-term objectives
To further promote biodiversity, which is currently addressed at 69% of the company’s cement sites, a ten-year partnership was signed with BirdLife International
The lost time injury rate fell by 25% and the fatality rate by 18%
