Every year, Fast Company recognizes brands and organizations that are developing ideas and technologies with the power to transform the world. We are proud to share that Coachtopia, Coach’s circular sub-brand, has won a place on this year’s list in recognition of their work to build a better, more circular future for fashion by designing and making products according to their Made Circular principles.

One key innovation in 2024 was launch of the Alter/Ego collection—a range of bags crafted with the leather scraps left over from the creation of iconic Coach styles—including the Tabby and Brooklyn bags—which might otherwise have gone to landfill. With this collection, Coachtopia has started to go beyond simply making with waste, to thinking ahead to future Coach waste and working to design it out from the beginning. It’s the brand’s next step towards a zero-waste future.
