On July 11, 2024, The Renewable Thermal Collaborative (RTC) held a webinar to explore the groundbreaking renewable natural gas (RNG) agreement between AstraZeneca and Vanguard Renewables. Speakers Andy Wirths from AstraZeneca, John Hanselman from Vanguard Renewables, and the RTC’s Ruth Checknoff discussed how the agreement to supply AstraZeneca with 650,000 MMBtu/year for 15 or more years contributes to the company’s ambition to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from its global operations (Scope 1 and 2) by 98% by 2026.
