In celebration of Juneteenth, we welcomed Dr. Damon Tweedy, M.D., renowned professor of psychiatry and behavioral sciences at Duke University Medical Center and staff physician at the Durham VA Medical Center, to share his personal experiences and insights on healthcare inequities in the U.S.
Dr. Tweedy has written extensively about the intersection of race, medicine and mental health and we are honored to have had this opportunity to learn firsthand from him to commemorate this holiday.
