HARMAN’s legendary fan favorite event, JBL Fest, returned this year for an unforgettable weekend in one of the world’s most iconic locales: New York City! Celebrating our unmatched global brand – JBL, this annual activation is our way to showcase JBL’s unique brand identity and experience to a variety of audiences. Joined by our ambassadors, longtime friends, customers, partners, and fans, we took over the Big Apple in a BIG way – from adding a special sight to the NYC skyline to hosting our own block party on one of the city’s most historic streets, and more.
There was no better place to showcase the expansive, immersive world of JBL. After all, New York City and JBL share a connection as unique brands at the intersection of culture, music, sports, and entertainment. Take a closer look at the highlights from this year’s JBL Fest…
JBL: Made to Be Heard
There was no question about it – JBL Fest in New York City was the ideal venue to unveil the newest additions to our JBL PartyBox series: the JBL PartyBox Club 120, JBL PartyBox Stage 320, and the JBL PartyBox Wireless Mic. Featuring a seamless blend of innovative design with thrilling sound and immersive lighting effects, the new JBL PartyBox series is a testament to our ability to catapult our brands to new levels, time and time again.
From downtown New York City to Times Square, Yankee Stadium, and everywhere in between – our newest JBL PartyBox series proved that the JBL brand is one that is MADE to be HEARD!
Shining a Light on Music Education
Music has always been an integral part of HARMAN’s DNA, and many of our team members have experienced first-hand the power of music education and its purposeful impact on the lives of young people. Through HARMAN Inspired, we are committed to bringing music education and resources to students of all ages with our partners like the NAMM Foundation.
At JBL Fest, John Mlynczak, President and CEO of NAMM Foundation, joined our President and Chief Executive Officer, Michael Mauser to light up the iconic Empire State Building in our classic ‘JBL orange’ in recognition of music education and its influence on future generations. Friends of HARMAN including Chrissy Teigen and DJ duo Two Friends also joined the ceremony to help bring awareness to the benefits of music education for students around the world.
Electrifying Performances in the City that Never Sleeps
The excitement continued all weekend with show-stopping performances from some of today’s biggest stars. Kicking things off at our special welcome party, Two Friends brought the energy during their first performance as our newest JBL brand ambassadors. Just as JBL is known for pushing the boundaries of audio innovation, Two Friends bring an innovative approach to music that kept our guests dancing all night long.
At our JBL store located in historic Soho, nothing could stop Flau’jae Johnson, rapper and guard for the Louisiana State University women’s basketball team, from celebrating with fans and performing her newest hits for the passionate crowd.
The weekend capped off with a sold-out performance from our ambassador Madison Beer at the legendary Radio City Music Hall. After the show, fans of all ages gathered once again at our JBL Store for an exclusive Q&A event with Madison – a one-of-a-kind experience that only JBL can bring.
This year’s JBL Fest was certainly one for the books – but we’re just getting started. Follow us on X, Facebook, and LinkedIn to stay up to date on the latest news from the world of JBL and HARMAN.
