ORLANDO, Fla., April 4, 2022, /CSRwire/ - The Chairman and Co-founder of the World Federation of Youth Clubs (WFYC) Rick Goings announced today that Kirk Dominick has been appointed as President and Chief Executive Officer of the global organization. The WFYC is a non-profit organization helping those around the world whose purpose is to create safe and productive spaces for the young people in their communities. Dominick’s 30 years of experience and success working with youth service organizations to position them for growth, impact and sustainability will add tremendous value and impetus to the WFYC global mission to develop, advance, and enhance global youth organizations that provide a positive, safe environment for young people.

“Kirk’s vast experience in senior leadership positions in youth service organizations, where our current President & CEO, Glenn Permuy, was an important mentor, gives me confidence in both continuity and the value he will bring as WFYC’s President and CEO,” said Rick Goings. “He has the proven leadership skills and strategic strengths needed to expand our reach to more countries, affiliate clubs and young people who need the support of WFYC. I believe that with Kirk at the helm, we will increase our growth potential and global impact. With almost 200 countries in the world today, and our presence in 37 countries, we have important work to do together!”

Throughout his entire career Mr. Dominick has a proven track record of extensive expertise in leading youth service organizations in the creation of innovative strategies and shared vision, resource development, building strong boards and leading executive teams. He spent over a decade in senior executive roles with Boys & Girls Clubs of America (BGCA), ultimately as Executive Vice President of the entire organization, providing oversight for the delivery of services to more than 4,300 Clubs and strategic direction and support to key areas of the national organization. His career trajectory within BGCA is exemplary, beginning early in life as a member of his local Boys & Girls Club and eventually being honored as Southeast Region Youth of the Year and a National Youth of the Year Finalist.

Dominick’s appointment also signals a transition in WFYC’s leadership with Glenn Permuy who is assuming a new role as Senior Executive for Enhancement and Innovation. Permuy will continue to work directly with affiliate organizations to advance their programs as they strive to change and enhance the lives of young people. Dominick and Permuy served together in past senior roles with Boys & Girls Clubs of America and will resume their collaboration on WFYC’s world stage.
