Sodexo, a food services and facilities management company committed to improving Quality of Life, announced today its participation in the 2019 HACR Corporate Inclusion Index (HACR CII), a research initiative conducted by the Hispanic Association on Corporate Responsibility (HACR) and the HACR Research Institute, aimed at measuring Hispanic inclusion in Corporate America. Sodexo received a five-star rating in HACR’s employment and governance pillars.

“Sodexo’s commitment to the Hispanic community is incredibly important”, said Gerri Mason Hall, Chief Diversity and Sustainability Officer, Sodexo Americas. “Now more than ever, we must band together to create environments that are safe and inclusive for all employees, recognizing the challenges that our communities are facing at this time.”

Sodexo’s participation in the survey is key to strengthening its commitment to the U.S. Hispanic community. Through this survey Sodexo is able to better understand the needs of the evolving Hispanic community, develop Hispanic initiatives, and make significant progress towards greater Hispanic inclusion within Sodexo.

The HACR CII survey focuses on areas of Employment, Procurement, Philanthropy, and Governance. Sodexo recognizes the importance of evaluating key metrics in these areas and identifying opportunities that will help it frame the strategic plan to assist in keeping up with the demands of a diverse, ever-changing world.

Sodexo’s commitment to diversity and inclusion has been consistently recognized by external organizations and notable diversity publications. In January, Sodexo was recognized on Bloomberg’s 2019 Gender Equality Index and FORTUNE’S 2019 list of the World’s Most Admired Companies.
