World Environment Center Partners with Better World Leadership to Present a Forum on "Nonprofit Board Programs to Develop Business Leaders for a Sustainable Future"

The World Environment Center (WEC) invites sustainability executives to learn and discuss the results of the new Better World Leadership (BWL) study of company practices for nonprofit board training and matching. The forum on Nonprofit Board Programs to Develop Business Leaders for a Sustainable Future is scheduled for Thursday, December 5, 3:30 - 5:30, followed by a reception, at Reed Smith, 599 Lexington Avenue in New York City. 

This forum is presented in conjunction with Bloomberg and other leaders in sustainable finance as a member of Sustainable Finance Week, the largest ever convening of events and influencers in this space.

In an interactive format with the audience, panelists will address ways in which companies can advance board service to achieve company goals for leadership development, diversity and inclusion, recruitment and retention, the SDGs, and sustainability. Panelists include Gabriela Burian, Global Director, Sustainable Food Systems, Bayer; Jennifer Cheng, Partner, Global Vice Chair of Mergers & Acquisitions, Reed Smith LLP; Grady Crosby, VP, Public Affairs and Chief Diversity Officer, Johnson Controls, and President, Johnson Controls Foundation; Alice Korngold, CEO, Korngold Consulting; Glenn Prickett, Interim CEO, World Environment Center; Perri Richman, VP, Communications, Ingersoll Rand, and President, Ingersoll Rand Foundation; Deirdre White, CEO, PYXERA Global; and Ayo Sanderson Wilson, COO & EVP, Cornerstone Family Programs.

BWL studies have been conducted by Alice Korngold, Korngold Consulting LLC, with the support and participation of American Express, Comcast NBCU, Dow Chemical, HP, Johnson Controls, PIMCO, PwC, Symantec, Target, in addition to IMPACT2030 and PYXERA Global.
