Nov. 01 /CSRwire/ - WHAT:  Spence-Chapin Services to Families and Children (Spence-Chapin) is hosting various activities throughout the month of November including Voices of Adoption: Adoptee Stories About Search and Reunion, in honor of National Adoption Month. The event is hosted by Jessica Luciere, an adoptee and adoption advocate.

WHEN:   Thursday, November 21, 2019 from 6–8 p.m.

WHY: Spence-Chapin’s mission driven by the simple belief that every child deserves a family. The renowned New York City not-for-profit organization has created and supported families through adoption with integrity and compassion for over 100 years and envisions a world in which adoption is a celebrated choice, every child belongs, and all families are embraced.

If you are an adoptee thinking about starting a birth parent search or want to hear stories from others who have reunited with birth relatives, please join us for a night of conversation about the complexities of search and reunion. No matter where you are in the search process, you'll walk away having connected with other adoptees who can relate to your experiences.
